When I stepped foot into the restaurant, I felt really excited yet confused at the same time. What do they serve and where do I go from here?
Greenhouse by Muir houses 3 different restaurants in one standalone shoplot - Kuroshio Market (a pick and dine Japanese restaurant), Evendough Bakery & Cafe and BRYCG (serving Southern American cuisine).
After a brief walk-through of the restuarant, I was pleasantly surprised at how much variety they offer, and decided with tea at BRYCG in the end.

Harvey & Son's Mint Lemon Verbana (RM10). |
We also ordered a serving of Southern Cayenne Shrimp Crispy Tacos (RM28.00) to share. It came with juicy grilled creole seasoned shrimp, julienned raw mango, and drizzled with remoulade flavored sauce. This Tex-Mex had a slightly more sourish taste to it, but I thought the flavors were well balanced, and very delicious overall. Having said that, I felt that it was extremely pricey for it's portion. |
Overall Rating: 8/10. I never would have thought that I'd stumble upon a place which serves Southern American cuisine, after my not-so-pleasant stint at Acme South in Bangsar (a sister branch of the more popular Acme Bar & Cafe). Hence, I'd definitely recommend BRYCG for being one of the few Southern American (New Orleans to be specific) restaurants in the Klang Valley that does it well.
