Spicy Scoops#6 | KL Fashion Week 2014

Time flies. We've officially flipped our calendars to July - second half of the year - and I'm not liking this one bit. Though I always look forward to a Friday, it doesn't mean that I want my weekends to end quickly too! I feel that there are still heaps of stuff I want to do but obviously undone just yet. I really need to sensibly pen down a YOLO-list. Key word - sensibly.

Last week, I attended the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2014 at Pavilion KL. It was my first experience attending the inaugural event as a blogger - and it was a stunning one.

It was a scorching afternoon - the air was humid and warm. By the time I reached Pavilion, I was sweaty and sticky already.

Me and Carol arrived at the venue slightly earlier as planned. Mainly because we wanted to take pictures at the venue without being shoved and up-dressed (clearly) by the crowd closer to the time of the show. Though no where as elaborate as the real fashionistas, we went on an #ootd photo-run.

Right after all of that, we hopped excitedly to the runway arena. There were plenty of pictures taken that evening, of me being really vain mostly. Come to think of it, I may have gone overboard with pictures. I reckon this is the most self portraits in a blogpost that I've ever posted in this blog. Ever.

Models strutting their stuff down the runway, donning amazing attires by the designers. You can always watch from afar - nothing new there. But having the option of in-house seats - is an experience of its own.

Here we go - STILL.

Jendela KL.

Ridzuan Bahari.

Variante.

Carven Ong.

I absolutely love Carven Ong's angelic pieces. Definitely my favorite designer of the show.

In dire need of a drink - non alcoholic of course, we went to Ben's and spend the rest of the evening just catching up over random chit chats.

So last week, I talked about getting my hair colored - which I did, and it's a hint lighter now. Didn't have time to take any proper pictures just yet, so this would have to do for now. Busy bee much. More pictures in my next write up!

Picture taken during my Saturday night out in Changkat. You can read my review of El Cerdo Here.

It turns out that I'm in dire need of a better hair care solution after all the hair coloring.

On my newly colored and already-long-damaged hair, I will be talking about hair care in the next couple of weeks, particularly on the Schwarzkopf Essensity Color & Repair range. Stay tune!

Coming to that, it's that time of the year again, where everyone goes for short holiday stints and taking a breather through last minute travelling plans. I think this is the last update before I jet-set to Bangkok! Can't wait!
