Highlights: Cocott' @ TTDI KL

The Restaurant:

A cozy and casual French restaurant that was once popular with it's racelette themed dinners.

The Food:

First up, we had Cocott's Homemade Bread (first bread is complimentary; after orders at RM6/serving), which I thought had toothsome textures and an amazing fluff. I'd highly recommend ordering a second portion. Being the first time there, I ordered what came recommended - Malakoff (RM34) and Beef Bourguignon (RM51/single and RM97/double) to share. The Malakoff came in a form of five bursting balls of deep fried raclette cheese, best eaten with the onion and red wine chutney at the side. I had to give their much talked about raclette cheese a go and these were decently delicious. The traditional French dish of Beef Bourguignon came equally tantalizing - flavorsome stew cooked in red wine that leaned towards the savory taste-bud, with tender shreds of beef done right. We also went with the Poached Salmon (RM51) served with maltaise sauce, beetroot puree, kohlrabi, and orange - which was just about alright.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10.

Simply because cheese is not really my number one (don't mind me cheese-lovers out there), though I really enjoyed the overall experience and the food I had.
