The CONNOR'S Experience At Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre, TREC KL

This post is part of a series of The CONNOR'S Experience writeups that I will be featuring in the next couple of months.

The CONNOR'S Experience is all about being able to enjoy a marvelous meal of food and drinks, then getting home safely after a fun night out.

As part of this experience, several weeks ago, I was invited to sample two uniquely crafted CONNOR'S infused dishes, at Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre, complimented by pints of CONNOR'S Stout Porter, followed by a relaxing ride back home by GRAB.

I can't wait to tell you about my first taste of CONNOR'S Stout Porter!

My first taste of CONNOR'S Stout Porter and I really liked it! Not too rich; not too bitter; just right for me.

The CONNOR’S Stout Porter creation was inspired by the original Stout Porter recipe from the 1700s Great Britain. The essence of the original was carefully recreated to deliver the same crisp texture, creamy head and gentle roasty undertones. Though we crafted it further to suit modern taste buds, Connor’s Stout Porter is perfectly balanced with the right bitterness and robustness.
"This have got to be one of the best smoked duck dishes I've had", I muttered silently. The Smoked Duck Breast With Connors Honey Glaze (Rm48++ incl. 1 full pint of CONNOR'S Stout Porter) was scrumptious! The smoked duck breast was tender and flavorsome; the pan-grilled skin was addictively crisp; the honey glazed CONNOR'S-infused sauce was sweet; the apricot and raisin fruit compote balanced out the overall flavors of the dish.
Gleaming under the spotlight, the 2.5 hour Braised Connors Three Rack Of Lamb Ribs With Ratatouille (Rm68++ incl. 1 full pint of CONNOR'S Stout Porter) was equally enjoyable, served with fluffy mashed potato underneath. For me, the highlight would be the specially crafted, CONNOR'S braised lamb jus. Not to worry, the sauce was not at all bitter, but bitter-sweet.

The space at Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre felt refined yet easy-going; cozy yet rugged at the same time. I realised it wasn't so much of just the ambience that I was paying attention to, but the overall dining experience that came alongside it.

We also managed to catch the sunset that day, and here are some more photographs taken that evening.

Not needing to worry about the hassle of driving home, I hitched a relaxing ride home with GRAB after that. Drink reasonably please!

GRAB is offering a RM8 discount for 4 rides to/from all participating outlets (including this one!), to customers that pay via credit/debit card. Use GRABCONNORS to enjoy the exclusive discount. In addition to that, they will be throwing in FREE half pint of CONNOR's Stout Porter by just flashing the booking receipt at the outlet. As simple as that!

Truth is, I was still a little hungry when I got home, but it was a great evening all in all - something that was a little different compared to my usual Mondays, a meal that was a tad more interesting, accompanied by loads of laughter and tipsy humour.

Look out for my next CONNOR's Experience writeup next month!
