I think they were secretly trying to stuff us all full - unceasing trays of complimentary canapes and overflowing glasses of whites and reds, even before dinner was served. Dinner started late, so I really didn't mind the additional food bites.

MasterChef Asia is an iconic cooking competition run by Lifetime Channel (Astro 709), unfolding some of the best culinary creations by our homegrown Asian talents.

Today's dinner by the judges - Audra Morrice, Susur Lee and Bruno Menard - was a splendid showcase of the exemplary standards that is expected of the show. Trust me, it will be dramatic. The MasterChef Asia Malaysian Tour was held at The Westin KL.

Let me now start with the event.

Local celebrity Aishah Sinclair was the emcee for the event.
The event kick-started with an ice-breaking session on stage with the Masterchef Asia Judges.
First up, Susur Lee constructed a stellar-looking appetizer, named Singapore Slaw. It reminded me of Yee Sang.
There are 21 ingredients in this dish.
Next up, Bruno Menard presented the Provencale Chicken Roulade for our main course.
Last but not least, Audra Morrice showcased her rendition of Chocolate Ganache for dessert.

The culinary spectacle by the MasterChef judges was a joy to watch and definitely a pleasure to devour.

I had a bloated tummy by the time we got to the dessert - I tried, but really couldn't finish the last one. It's true - they were serious about stuffing us full!

My favorite dish of the evening would have to be the wonderfully decadent Chocolate Ganache, creatively crafted by Judge Audra. What a great way to end my meal.

Now, let us not stray too far and move on to the show. Are we still on tune here?
