Aesthetic treatments is fast gaining popularity, particularly among the younger clan. This is not my first time attempting aesthetic treatments. You can read about my previous write-ups here. I have a feeling that in years to come, these beauty treatments may well be packaged together with conventional facials. Though for the time being, the hefty price tag would probably hold back many interested parties.
On that note, I have always been a huge fan of aesthetic treatments. It's like an experimental therapy for me, where I get to see instant beautification with pleasant and subtle changes, in just one treatment and with no downtime whatsoever. Again, aesthetic treatments are non-invasive, non-surgical and highly temporary in nature.

Hydra Quench is the first step to all aesthetic treatments. The ultimate aim of this treatment is to moisturize the skin from the inside out, meant to provide the necessary foundation for subsequent treatments later on.
It took about 90 minutes in total. I was placed in a cozy and dimly lit room, so I had no problems settling in.

On a freshly cleansed face, numbing cream was applied and left to sit for about 45 minutes. |

The Hydra Quench treatment involves injecting a syringe of hyaluronic acid into the inner-layer of the skin via a very tiny needle. I've circled the focus areas of this treatment. |

A cooling gel mask is then used to soothe the skin for about 15 minutes. |
The numbing cream completely wore off a few hours after that and so did the soreness of the injected areas. The most uncomfortable part of the treatment - injection on my laugh lines. The soreness of that area would last for a few hours. Other than that, it was relatively painless.
Depending on how sensitive your skin is to needles, expect to see some mild bruising, especially around the eye area. For my exceptionally sensitive skin, post-treatment, I had 2 tiny bruises, one below my left eye and one right below the brow of my right eye. This is entirely normal however and would go off in about a weeks time.
Post treatment - remember to avoid using whitening products for at least 3 days and drink loads of water!

Apart from that, the tiny pimples that I had subsided almost immediately after the treatment. The texture of my skin have also improved a little, especially on my forehead. Even while I'm writing this, 2 weeks post-treatment, it still feels as good as new. My skin feels great!
Withal, if you're interested in trying out aesthetic treatments but don't know which to go for first; or if you feel that your skin is in need of moisture and hydration - Hydra Quench would be prefect for you.
