CAFFEine; @ Setiawalk Puchong

In my books, Coffee always come after a wholesome meal.

CAFFEine;

Tucked at a quiet little corner on the second floor, upstairs of Shared Tea and a few doors away from Go! Burger Kitchen (GBK), CAFFEine; - with a semicolon, opened its doors in Setiawalk about 8 months ago.

CAFFEine; is essentially an indie café that not only serves everything-caffeinated, but also natural decaffeinated tea, smoothies, bottled juices, cakes and many more.

Not to be mistaken with Caffeiness and Caffeine (keeps on being autocorrected to lower case characters *grumbles*), I'm sure the name will stick after awhile. =)

On a side note, coffee can be ordered here and brought over to Go Burger and vice versa.

My favourite - Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter ice cream is served here as well! Fatbaby!

With a minimalist interior, this place pretty much captured that industrial look that is clearly evident still, in coffee houses nowadays - it's all pretty darn cool I must say. However, with the scorching heat hitting us nowadays, I don't know how long I can stay without enclosed air conditioning, purely a personal preference nonetheless.

CAFFEine; don't use only one type of coffee bean rather, different types of unique blends, fit for each individual cup of coffee served. That said, Caffe Mokka remains as their customary coffee blend.

Vienna Coffee.

Brewed using their signature Coffex Coffee, this cream based double shot espresso was rich, had a tinge of sour aftertaste to it and was slightly acidic. The hand made whipped cream on the other hand, was smooth and not too sweet and simply complemented the coffee altogether. I would think that those who love frappes would enjoy this very much.

Americano.

I smiled upon my first sip =) Because of the nature of Colombian beans - Colombia Supremo in this case, this single origin bean tasted slightly nutty with just a tinge of acidity. It was rich yet not too strong and bitter - I could fall in love with this.

There are heaps of in house promotions going on at the moment, just ask the barista for recommendations if you are torn for choices.

Proud owner of CAFFEine, Lee Chien and owner of GBK, Rao - and, that's a wrap.

Overall Rating: 7/10 for the coffee. I would definitely return to try out their Fat Baby ice cream. On a side note, parking is 1 buck for the first 3 hours.

CAFFEine is located at:
G-09-1, Level 1, Block G,
SetiaWalk, Persiaran Wawasan,
Pusat Bandar Puchong,
47160 Puchong, Selangor.

Open: Mon 2pm-11pm, Tue Closed, Wed- Fri 2pm-11pm, Sat-Sun 12pm-11pm

Located right upstairs of Shared Tea and few doors away from Go! Burger Kitchen (GBK).
