As usual, lunch times are always a busy peak and a seat-scouting nightmare when it comes to eating in a mall, especially in KLCC. Luckily for us, me and a few colleagues managed to spot a table at the far end corner of Cafe Vienna when we got there.
Cafe Vienna
Not much of the layout of this place, it sits 20-25 tables; 10 inside and the rest is outside. The counters was tastefully decorated, influenced heavily by Viennese designs, very pretty indeed.
Strawberry Smoothie. +/- Rm15.
Was a bit too watery and slightly diluted.
Vienna Chicken Schnitzel. Rm26.00.
This generously huge Chicken Schnitzel is a the 'Shiznit'. Layered between 2 slices of panini buns is a really large slice of fried chicken cutlet topped with lightly toasted mozarella cheese with fresh lettuce at the bottom. The Chicken schnitzel was not overcooked nor drenched in oil, despite being deep fried. Also comes with a side of fries in a pot.
Apple Strudel. Rm18.00.
A Friend of mine also ordered the Braised lamb Shank (Rm42), one of the priciest dish in the restuarant. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures.
Overall Rating: 7/10 for the overall few dishes that I tried. In terms of price, it was slightly on the higher side but it's justified since I don't think there's many Viennese restaurants around town. Do let me know if there is.
