Ba Sheng Zai Steamboat Restaurant @ Kota Damansara

It started on a cloudy Saturday afternoon. It was supposed to be a short get together over lunch at Red Bean Bag, Publika. Little did we know, it started raining heavily when we were almost done with our meal and thats when we decided to head to The Social for a couple of drinks and tea before heading home. In a blink of an eye it was already time for dinner and one of my friends suggested that we go for a steamboat session.

It was still drizzling when we took off, perfect for a steamy and hearty affair of steamboat.

Ba Sheng Zai Steamboat Huo Guo Restaurant

Located in the heart of Kota Damansara, Ba Sheng Zai was almost packed when we got there. There is about 15 tables indoors and another 10 outdoors. All tables have its own electronically powered stove.

We were still pretty full from our meals before, so we only ordered Pulau Ketam Set with a minimum pax for 2.

 Pulau Ketam Set. Rm16.50/pax.

The Pulau Ketam set came with prawns, fish noodle and fish roll and other stnadards like beancurd, tofu, fish balls and vegetables.

We opted for the clear and tomyum soup base, which is refillable for free.

We also ordered a pot of tea to complement.

The bill came up to about Rm45.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10 for the environment and food. The place looks very clean and new as I was told that it recently undergone a revamp. The seafood was fresh and the soup base was flavorful. I would definitely return to try out the Red Snapper or Silver Pomfret sets.

Ba Sheng Zai is located at:
