After over 30 years of familiar habits, stepping out of my comfort zone wasn't easy. Writing this review wasn't either - but it's an honest reflection of my personal experience. Here's my take on the on the Go&Move™, Period Underwear.
After so many years of menstruating, the monthly hassle is nothing new - but finding better external comfort is still something that I care deeply about.
In the past, I've always relied only on sanitary pads. To this very day, I still struggle with bulky pads that make my underwear feel tight and uncomfortable; pads never stay where it should; leaks often end up at the seams - or worse, on my clothes.
Who can relate?
That's what led me to try Go&Move, the thinnest and most breathable Period Underwear, and promising comfort without compromise.
Go&Move takes pride in its reusable period underwear range, featuring patented leak-proof design with multi-layer absorbent and waterproof fabric technology, to handle both light and heavy flows, staying breathable and comfortable, whilst preventing leaks and odours. It is also PFAS-free and SGS certified.
On their official website, I found a handful of different period underwear variants, tailored to period flow (light, moderate, heavy), style (high-waist, mid-waist, liner brief), size and colour.
Here's a closer look at what I've tested and how they actually feel in real life.
I have been wearing the High Waisted Rayon Leak-Proof : Day-Time, Heavy Flow Briefs (RM180.00) during my heavier days, and was surprised at how much it actually absorb without feeling bulky. The briefs can absorb up to 60ml of fluid, equivalent to 6 regular pads.
The absorbent core and four-layer fabric technology felt reliable, and the leak-proof design around the seams meant that I didn't have to keep checking myself throughout the day.
ABSORBENCY
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ✔no change necessary ✔lasts 12 hours
⚬ Pads : ❌2-3x on heavy flow days
LEAKAGE PROTECTION
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ✔no leaks for me
⚬ Pads : ❌leaks through seams
FIT & STABILITY
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ✔more secure & in-place ✔invisible under clothes

After getting comfortable with the day-time briefs, I decided to try the High Waisted Rayon Leak-Proof : Night-Time, Heavy Flow Briefs (RM215.00) to see how it held up overnight.
While the core features are similar to the day-time version, the night-time one had a wider, full coverage fit. The absorbent core extend fully across the back, so even if the period flows backwards while I sleep, I didn't have to worry about it leaking onto my bedding.
The high-wasted fit hugs me comfortably, and the breathable fabric kept me dry, even overnight. Although the period underwear may look bulkier, I honestly didn't feel much, as though I was just wearing any other normal underwear of mine.
COMFORT
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : 💓💓💓💓💓 ✔rayon blend fabric - soft, smooth, cool to touch

It's thin, lightweight, seamless and almost invisible under clothing, yet still offers leak-proof layers that makes them reliable for those in-between days. I love how they feel like regular underwear but still protect.
Besides being lightweight and comfortable, I also wanted to see how convenient they are to care for.
With reusable period underwear, the wash-and-dry routine can make a big difference, so there're a few things to keep in mind.
On the positive side, the fabric is machine-washable and the absorbent layers dry relatively quickly if air-dried. They also hold up well after multiple washes - the shape and fit stays consistent and the leak-proof layer doesn't seem to lose its effectiveness.
This would also mean that one pair of briefs can last me a very long time, a small way to be a bit more kinder to the planet compared to single-use products.
SUSTAINABILITY
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ✔reusable ✔eco-friendly
⚬ Pads : ❌single use
On the flip side, the underwear do require some simple pre-washing to-do's. To hand wash - sprinkle some detergent, soak in cold water for a few minutes, gently rub, then rinse. To machine wash - lightly rinse under cold water, put into laundry bag, then into the washing machine. As easy as that may sound, it may be an added hassle for some.
Also because of the multi-layer absorbent design, the drying time can be longer than regular underwear, so you need to plan ahead if you don't have several pairs in rotation.
CONVENIENCE
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ❌wash-and-dry routine may be a hassle
⚬ Pads : ✔use and throw ✔time saving
COST
⚬ Go&Move Period Underwear : ❌higher upfront costs
⚬ Pads : ✔affordable to all
Overall, I've enjoyed adding Go&Move period underwear to my period routine, which I've used interchangeably with sanitary pads.
From the heavy flow, day and night briefs to the lightweight seamless liners, each pair offers a level of comfort, protection, and I feel good knowing that they're reusable. Not perfect, but definitely a game-changer for my flow days.
Till the next write-up. Thanks for reading.
