SpicyScoops | My Busy March Baby

March has been a busy-busy-busy month for me.

Things kept going - it kept me rolling. It really felt as thought I magically derived this supercharged energy that I never knew I had! I think it's all in the mind though. If it's for something that's worth chasing after, I'm sure everyone would have had some sort of super-power-puff ability to make things happen.

So what happened was this - I had to juggle between my full time job, my ad hoc freelance projects, as well as my ongoing blogging campaigns. Not to the extend of sleepless nights, but perhaps 50% more work load to what I'm usually accustomed to. Hence, what I really needed was 36 hours in a day and loads of coffee. #hah.

I'm in the midst of transitioning between my old full time job and my new full time job. Rest assured, I'm still in the same company, like how I started 5 years back, though what I'm doing in the meantime, are not exactly correlated to my forte. Thus, making things somewhat overwhelming in the beginning - a little scary and confusing too - but I'm certainly looking forward to the fresh challenges ahead.

I also handled my very first big-ER scale social media project this month. For those who have supported me throughout the trip - my heartfelt thank you - you know who you are =). I can't deny that I could have done better on some parts, but what kept the entire project in sync, was everyone's cooperation. I would've had less zen-moments if it weren't for everyone. More importantly, I had heaps of fun! Learning, definitely, and making the most out of the experience. I promise I will do a better job next time.

I also celebrated my birthday this month. Admitting that I've grown in age, but really - I'm still a kiddo at heart. Hence, I may not be the best of myself at all times but I will always try. Sacrifices had to be made this time round however. Because of the unexpected work trips, I had to postponed my supposed double-birthday-party with a good friend. Even when I'm 50, I would still want a big birthday party alright?

My friends who've shared their happiness with me for the past week, I'm thankful and grateful - the cakes, the meals, the presents, the card - the little things that touched my heart.

Apart from all of that, things went really well for the blog this month. Again, keeping my weekends thoroughly occupied. If I'm not out for meetings, I'm out for reviews. If I'm not out for reviews, I'm out hanging with my friends - no I've not forgotten.

For all that's worth, there was a deep sense of satisfaction. March has been one great month.
