Nara Kitchen & Co @ Damansara Uptown PJ - Beautiful Japanese Fusion Dishes.

Nara Kitchen & Co. was surprisingly quiet that Saturday afternoon. We had the entire cafe to ourserlves for a good hour, before a clan of hungry patrons came stomping through. The cafe is known for it's marvelous Japanese fusion dishes, albeit being notably on the pricier side.

The cafe was empty and there was perfect natural lighting sweeping through - the first thing that came to mind was - take more photographs of me please! Pardon my vanity.

Being the only occupied table, our food was quick to be served.

Flat White.
The NaraDonburi (RM36) had all my favorite ingredients in a bowl - torched salmon, miso zuchini, 63'c organic egg, truffle mayo, shredded seaweed and Japanese rice. The combination was delicious, best eaten all mashed up.
The Grilled Chicken Avocado (RM31) too, did not disappoint. On a mozzarella laden multigrain toast, grilled chicken in sweet sauce topped with slices of avocado, and a side of vege chips. The dish could have been better with more avocado nevertheless.
Playing with my food.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10. Despite the pricier menu items (I reckoned a good 20-30% higher than market average), I really liked what I had today. The food tasted scrumptious; the ingredients felt fresh; the servings came generous; the Japanese fusion combination worked well.

Located along the same row as The Good Batch, Frisson, Soft Serve, Wondermilk and Fat Spoon.
