La Bodega @ The Shore Malacca - Spanish Food in Melaka

I'm going to keep this write up short and simple. Read the rest of my Malacca highlights here - Grand Opening Of The Shore Melaka and Cultural Performance At Melaka Alive.

La Bodega Melaka

Today's Spanish feast features some of La Bodega's signature dishes - in smaller sized eats. Rather similar to the Wine & Brunch buffet I had at Bangsar sometime back, but with a pleasing variety to boost.

For this Sunday Pintxos and Paella fiesta - you only order what you want! There are 30 different types of pintxos to pick from, prices start from Rm4.25/each for pintxos and Rm21.20 for the paella.

Only available at The Shore Malacca as well as Bangsar Telawi 2 outlet.

These are just some of the many-many pinchos we had that day.

And some candid pictures of us.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10. Oddly, the pintxos and paella that I had at La Bodega that evening, felt far more scrumptious than the ones I've had in town. It must be the Malaccan vibe or perhaps the holiday mood I was in - the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of KL town. I wouldn't say prices are largely affordable however, with pintxos going from Rm4.25/each onwards, it is a little steep on the pockets, hence it may throw some potential diners off. That said, pinchos are never meant to be savored alone. I reckon these would make a fantastic party platter to share. Don't you think so too?
