SpicyScoops | My New Year Resolution

G'Day. Or is it more appropriate for me to ask - how's the new year treating ya so far?

My first write up for 2015 that is not related to food, beauty or any sort of review whatsoever. This time, it's all about me. *grins*

A week has passed, but I honestly don't feel different compared to the year before just yet. Perhaps the year is still young and I've yet to make any drastic changes or decisions that would contribute to a stepping stone. I do feel mentally revived and hopeful however, like I was given a second chance to start things anew. Maybe soon, the good year will bring along a string of luck and opportunities for me too. #fingerscrossed

It also inevitably gave me more time to fulfill this year's to-do's, or shall i say, the carried forward ones undone from last year. The list just gets longer.

1. Reach Out and be a Better Blogger. For me, it's all about expanding my network this year - meet more people and make more friends. But of course, photography and writing will always be the core of this blog, doing the things that I enjoy doing the most.

2. Learn more about Digital Marketing and Communication. This could be potentially be a new stepping stone this year for me. Relax, the rest of the list below are leisure stuff.

3. Rekindling with childhood buddies. Of people whom I've not seen for the pass 15 years. Consider this resolution halfway done. I met a few childhood friends recently, and it was great catching up after all these years. How they've changed - how I've changed. Now, who should I call next?

4. Flyboarding. I was told Putrajaya have this. For those who don't know what this is, you can watch it Here.

5. Skydiving. Is there any other place where I can do this apart from New Zealand? Like a scenic-worthy one.

4. Travel to at least one new destination.

5. Travel solo.

6. Join a Marathon.

That's all I can churn out for now. Nothing too exciting really. I can't be too ambitious y'know. It's merely the first week of the new year after all.

But the ultimate aim of all of this - is to challenge myself. Like the popular saying, never-try-never-know. For me, it's merely about making life a little more interesting than it currently is, by walking-the-talk yo.

And I can really foresee that things will change for the better this year. The previous year have been a rough year for me, so 2015 - I rest a lot of hope in you. Moreover, the Chinese zodiac readings say that this year will be a fantastic year for Rabbits - you can now guess my age. That said, never leave destiny to play on its own, though anything that gives off good vibes would do everyone well I'm sure.

Every year, I like to do things a little differently for my blog. It's like a new years resolution - for blogging. Last year I started SpicyScoops, a designated column focusing on beauty and lifestyle related write ups, with a blurt of personal ranting to add. It's like a tiny space that allows me to talk a little more - not too much - and write more about stuff not relating to food. Sometimes, that gives me a breath of fresh air.

This year, instead of combining personal thoughts and reviews, I'm separating both, by making SpicyScoops a column meant only for my personal thoughts - the name is staying however.

Penning all of this down wasn't too hard. This shows how much I've missed this part of creative writing huh. Stay awesome y'll.
